Avoid Overeating This Holiday Season
We are all guilty of over-indulging over the holidays whether its a Christmas feast, party buffets, or too much snacking on sweets in front of the TV! This can lead to indigestion, upset stomachs and more. Start with a small portion and wait 20mins before going back for more that way you have a better idea of whether or not you are actually hungry! By leaving time for the food to reach your stomach you will realize that you don't need that extra helping. You can also offset those richer, high-calorie foods with some lighter, healthier sides with lots of vegetables. As an added bonus you will give your vitamin intake a boost.
