Remember Rice to Treat Sprains
When it comes to administering First Aid sprains are among the most common injuries you will have to deal with. Just remember to use RICE - That's Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation.
In simple terms that means wrapping the potential sprain in an ace bandage, elevating the limb, and applying ice while the injured person rests. This will help the sprain until a doctor can take a look at the injury. If a sprain is not properly handled, it can sometimes result in damage to cartilage and soft tissues.
